The Kardashian clan seems to switch up their hairstyles more often than any other family troop. They embrace dye, extensions and wigs and don’t shy away from talking about it.

The fam’s latest member to switch up their look? Kim and her fresh moody blue locks. The family’s hairstylist Chris Appleton uploaded a street style-inspired snap to his Insta account that shows Kim with her blue/black hair, so long that it brushes right above her butt.

In the photo, Kim is wearing a head-to-toe blue look from Kanye’s Yeezy line — skin-tight crop top, leggings and thigh-high boots; her curves, manufactured or not, are out of this world — and it makes her ocean-hued hair look even cooler.

The hair stylist hashtagged the snaps above with #yeezyseason8, suggesting that this is part of Kanye’s latest paparazzi-style ad campaign for his fashion line. Earlier this year, Paris Hilton, among others, was featured in a raw, pap-inspired marketing campaign for his Yeezy Season 6 collection, where she dressed up like Kim K in a icy blonde wig, crop top, zip-up sweatshirt and leggings, and was casually photographed walking through the streets of LA.

While Kim’s new subtle blue dye may have just spark a sudden summer beauty trend, for the star, it seems to have been a short-lived look. Another photo was uploaded the same day that shows the mama of three in a highlighter orange look (yes, those are bright orange, cargo-style sweatpants), but her strands are back to black, and styled with a natural, fresh-from-the-ocean wave. Wig? Dye job? Clever photo edit?

Maybe after Kim sees how much attention her blue hair is getting, she’ll be making it more permanent… or, at least as permanent as a Kardashian will go with their hair.
