The Kardashian-Jenners are reality television stars who post a lot on social media, but they only put out what they want to show us. As far as their personal lives go, we only see what they want us to see, whether it’s a whole lot of gory details or mere glimpses.

The youngest Jenner, Kylie, keeps her real life relationship with Travis Scott pretty close to the vest. They have an adorable daughter and truly seem to be in love, and if you look through their social feeds, there really isn’t a ton of pics of them together. Which is how they like it; a lovely little family unit. No drama.

So when images (TMZ seems to have taken them down, but Reddit is forever) of ‘Travis’ kissing an unidentified woman surfaced earlier this week, fans were truly shook. All of a sudden the elaborate flower display took on a new tone. Was that Scott’s way of apologizing for screwing up? Was this another Tristan situation? Too soon!

But, nope! Travis has nothing to apologize for because he’s done nothing wrong.

The fact that Travis had to issue a response is annoying enough, but what’s worse is that it was all a stunt. YouTuber ChristianAdamG explained that the prank was proof we shouldn’t believe anything we see on the Internet. He even added a disclaimer to the reveal video, stating it “was NOT made to intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or any of the entire Kardashian family in ANY way shape or form. Travis Scott is NOT actually a cheater.” But the damage was done — and the family didn’t take it lightly.

Kim‘s perfectly manicured claws came out.

And Khloe, who knows firsthand what it’s like being in an actual cheating scandal, backed her sister up.

Kylie put it best in her Instagram Stories, though, saying, “Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real.”

And, like the Kardashian-Jenners, no one thought this was funny.

This is so twisted. ChristianAdamG claims the “experiment” was inspired by that Justin Bieber burrito video but, come ON. That was completely harmless (except to burritos); this had potential to mess with people’s lives. Staging a Scott look-alike kissing on a woman that wasn’t Kylie while fake paps photographed them is a new level of low. They have a child, FFS.

Now, Kris, do your thing.
