Something’s missing; we just can’t put our finger on it

Kim Kardashian has a new magazine cover coming out but unlike her previous one which broke the Internet, the latest issue of Love has the reality star looking almost unrecognizable.

In case you missed it a couple of months ago, Kardashian posted a pic of herself with Cara Delevingne, who is famous for her dark, heavy brows (which, perhaps, only enhanced how strange Kim looked) and addressed her fans’ concerns. And now we see them in all their bleached glory this week. We think it’s safe to say that sister Khloe‘s on-and-off boyfriend, French Montana‘s face is saying what we’re all thinking about this trend that we hope remains is so last year.

Jennifer Aniston talks about split from Brad Pitt. Again.

The actress sat down with CBS Sunday Morning, said the word “divorced” — and the interviewer pounced on that can of worms and smashed it open.

According to Us Weekly, Aniston says of her 11-year-old split from Angelina’s Jolie‘s husband: “I don’t find it painful. I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.” When asked if she keeps in touch with Brad, she said: “We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but it’s not a constant thing.”

Can we stop talking about this? Pretty please?

Sorry, not sorry

Madonna kinda-sorta apologized on Friday to those who slammed her for comparing herself to Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. — while promoting her new album.

“I’m sorry I’m not comparing my self to anyone,” she wrote in a lengthy Facebook post. “I’m admiring and acknowledging [their] Rebel Hearts. This is neither a crime or an insult or racist! Also did it with Michael jackson and frida khalo and marilyn monroe. Am I saying I am them NO. I’m saying they are Rebel Hearts too.”

Like her album cover, their faces were bound in black rope and were accompanied by captions. “This #rebelheart had a dream!” she wrote about King. And of the former South African president: “This #rebelheart fought for freedom!”

More remorseful was Kaley Cuoco, whose apologized on New Year’s Day for not being a feminist. Whether she doesn’t have a backbone, was bullied into saying sorry, or felt she couldn’t freely express herself if it goes against the norm, it’s sad that she succumbed to the pressure of people who yell with their keyboards. #notsorry

Kaley Cuoco’s apology on New Year’s Day for not being a feminist, on the other hand, was more sincere — we just don’t get why she had to apologize. Whether she doesn’t have a backbone, was bullied into saying sorry, or felt she couldn’t freely express herself if it goes against the norm, it’s sad that she succumbed to the pressure of people who yell with their keyboards.

Baby announcements

Rather than Star-Lord and Groot, Zoe Saldana revealed that she and husband Marco Perego named their twin boys Cy and Bowie. Very cool, right?

In other baby news, rapper Macklemore is going to be a dad. He and fiancée Tricia Davis made a sweet video and he posted it on Twitter on Saturday. Aw.

And Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria are also expecting, which she revealed on Instagram on New Year’s Day.

A day later, the yoga instructor hinted that daughter Carmen is going to have a younger brother. Double aw! http://instagram.com/p/xXJvh8A8a9/

Don’t piss off Sarah Palin

Palin responded to backlash over son Trig standing on family dog in the typical Palin way — by firing back. Addressing the controversy, she began her looooooooong Facebook post with the opening line: “Dear PETA, Chill. At least Trig didn’t eat the dog.” Heh.

It all started with her New Year’s Day FB post which included a pic of the six-year-old standing on dog Jill. PETA released a statement on Friday blasting Palin and calling the action mistreatment of a pet and that’s where we’re at today. PETA, your move.
