A lot is said about how consistently the Duchess of Cambridge recycles her dresses and various hats, bags and jewellery. But we wonder if in 13 years time, she will dig deep into her closet and bust out a colourful Emilia Wickstead number, Jenny Packham gown, L.K. Bennett suit or Alexander McQueen frock the way Kirsten Dunst just did.

That’s right, Dunst showed us all how to flawlessly recycle an outfit. The actress has never wavered from her style choices, always leaning towards feminine, lacy pieces.

The first time Kirsten wore the vintage Christian Lacroix number was at Vanity Fair‘s Oscar party in February 2004. Then, she paired the frilly mini-dress with shiny red pumps and diamond necklaces. Combined with her pixie cut, she looked absolutely stunning.

This time around, while attending the unveiling of Chopard Presents The Garden Of Kalahari in Paris, Dunst opted for black ankle-strap heels with Chopard accessories that looked quite similar to the ones she rocked 13 years back.

So aside from her hair, now past her shoulders, the only real difference? Her date. In 2004, she had then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal at her side. Now, the actress, who walked the red carpet in Paris solo, is engaged to Jesse Plemons. Here’s hoping she sticks to recycling only outfits.
