If you thought Kristen Wiig seemed hilarious as the Botox-faced skincare guru Alexanya Atoz in the first Zoolander 2 trailer, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
The latest teaser for next month’s highly anticipated sequel was released this weekend, and it features Wiig as Atoz, spoofing the ridiculousness that is the beauty industry in a fake skincare infomercial.
The video sees the thickly accented Atoz hawking her new skin cream called “Youth Milk,” which is made in her “booty labia-tory” from special desert flowers and “natural street puddles in Indonesia.”
She says that with this special lotion that “you can pump all over your face,” your cracked skin can look as naturally pristine and hydrated as hers…which *cough cough* clearly has had no surgeries or injections.
The faux infomercial perfectly parodies the endless beauty industry ads that we’re forced to consume daily, encouraging us to spend a fortune on ridiculous sounding aesthetic-enhancement products that never actually work as they promise. And they’re usually sold to us by talking heads that clearly don’t use the product, and look suspiciously like they “had a little work done.”
You need to watch the teaser above, because it’s just too perfect. Trust us. You’ll get to hear this gem: “When you look old, you feel sad. When you look young, you feel happy.” Which she, of course, says without being able to move an inch of her face.
Zoolander 2 hits theatres on Feb. 12.
