Is young love dead? Because in news that is seemingly coming from nowhere, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have decided to take a break and are stepping away from their relationship of two years. But if Ross and Rachel proved anything, that's when things can go awry.Kylie and Travis don't make public appearances very often but they seemed fine during their last one, while attending the premiere of Scott's
Look Mom, I Can Fly documentary at the end of August. They even
brought out daughter Stormi for the event, but sources told
TMZ that they were there as a family and things have since cooled between the couple. The makeup maven and rapper have been trying to make things work for a while but "several weeks ago they decided to step away — at least for now."
TMZ also pointed out that Kylie hasn't posted anything involving Travis since September 10.
People magazine adds that the couple isn't done for good. "They still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles."Trust issues? If you recall,
TMZ reported earlier this year that Travis cheated on Kylie (after she supposedly found evidence, which resulted in an argument). The fight even prompted Scott to cancel a concert in Buffalo, New York, so he could stay in Los Angeles and work it out with Jenner. They eventually did work things out and even went on vacation a month after the infidelity rumours surfaced. And up to now, they seemed fine, from the Met Gala to their European vacation where they celebrated
Kylie's birthday in Italy and Cannes, and even opened up about their relationship in
Playboy. But Travis was noticeably absent from
Justin and Hailey Bieber's wedding, which Kylie and Stormi attended.
TMZ is giving us hope, however, as their sources claimed this isn't the first break the couple has taken — and they've always managed to work it out. They'll continue to make Stormi their number one priority and co-parent accordingly, reports the gossip site.While we might never know exactly what caused this timeout, many celebs often blame their breakups on busy schedules so we wouldn't be surprised if that line emerged. But, hey, look what happened with Ross and Rachel in the end. That could be Kylie and Travis.Jenner and Scott went public during Coachella in April 2017, shortly after her split from Tyga.
