Kylie Jenner has released her newest venture in the form of a skin care line and, as with just about anything the youngest member of the KarJenner family does, it’s hugely successful and widely criticized. Mo’ money, mo’ problems. Promoting the new line of Kylie Skin, Jenner posted a video of herself using the Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash on Wednesday and fans were outraged over Jenner washing her face with her hair down. Nope, that wasn’t it. Washing her face with oversized nails? Not that either. Social media exploded over the fact that Jenner only used the cleanser for a few seconds, with some of her makeup being rubbed off by her towel. So, maybe there were three things to be outraged about.
Sharing the 30 second clip on the @KylieSkin Twitter account, the (self made) billionaire only spends a few seconds rubbing the cleanser into her face before removing it with water and patting her face dry with a towel.

Jenner unfortunately used a white towel to dry her face, which clearly shows makeup residue, something her cleanser should have removed.
today i learned that kylie jenner, who released a whole skincare line, doesn’t know how to wash her face, or how to use a clean towel….. i- https://t.co/0dhsw5kF7a

Jenner’s use of filters in the video also had some fans calling the usefulness of the product into question.
Kylie you can’t do a skin care video with a filter on 😂 also you put that product on for 2 while seconds 😂 https://t.co/8eyfgDYDSu

1. Washed her face for a good 10 seconds.
2. filter …
3. Hella foundation on the towel
What exactly are you selling Kylie ? Lolololol https://t.co/N0bRQ9LGNf

Experts recommend taking 20 – 30 seconds to cleanse your face if makeup has already been removed, or 60 seconds if, as in Kylie’s case, your face still has makeup on it. So, let’s call this as a teachable moment.
I would like to thank Kylie Jenner for being a sham so that twitter could inform me that I’m supposed to wash my face for sixty (60) seconds. Never in my 25 years has anybody fucking told me that so THANKS

This is the second controversy to arise with Jenner’s new skincare line, which dropped on May 22. Jenner’s Walnut Face Scrub was also put on social media blast, with many Twitter users concerned over the abrasive qualities of walnut extract. We’re not dermatologists, but just thinking about rubbing walnut bits on our face sounds unpleasant.
Thinking about everyone who’s already ruined their skin with Kylie’s new walnut face scrub :/ pic.twitter.com/jxlQlhc10V

I really wanna buy Kylie skin collection but idk if I should. That walnut scrub information has me second guessing

Even with the poor technique and questionable ingredients, Kylie still has her stans.
just finished all the steps for @kylieskin by @KylieJenner and I can honestly say it’s amazing and definitely worth the $125, my face feels amazing and so clean I’m so glad I found a new skincare routine 🥰💜

Let’s start with the face wash, you don’t even need one pump, like half a pump will do the job, and I SWEAR @KylieJenner is a Goddess I’ve NEVER said “wow” so many times while washing my face! #KylieSkin pic.twitter.com/QvpzwADHji

Pick your side, friends. There clearly isn’t going to be agreement on this one.
