If you’ve been running out of reasons to shake your head at the Kardashian clan, here’s a fresh one courtesy of the family’s youngest member, Kylie.

It’s been revealed that the 17-year-old apparently feels that her celebrity status and constant tabloid contributions have earned her the right to own the name “Kylie.”

In April, the youngest Jenner went ahead and filed an application to trademark her name for “entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture” as well as for personal appearances “by a celebrity, actress and model.” Unreal.

There’s a good chance you’re thinking, “what about Kylie Minogue?” Well, apparently four decades of being a huge pop star, actress and TV judge is less deserving of a trademark than being on a reality show, hanging out with Justin Bieber and having a popular Instagram account. Or maybe Minogue’s ego has never been so far out of whack that she felt the need to trademark her first name.

It should also be noted that Kylie’s slightly older sister Kendall Jenner has also tried to trademark her first name under the same pretenses.

Great group of kids!
