It was a week for gift giving, with stars dishing out presents faster than Santa Claus at the eleventh hour. Kylie Jenner bought rapper bf Tyga a shiny new sports car with a $260,000 price tag (which we’re sure he’ll drive a least few times, park it with his collection, and it’ll collect cobwebs). And Drake wrote the world’s largest, and most public congratulations note to Rihanna after buying up billboard space in Los Angeles.
And while it may feel like end of summer for us regular folks, not so much for our favourite stars. Nope, many of them are still in full-on vacation mode. Like Kim Kardashian, whose Mexican adventures continued, with plenty of opportunity for her to wear her fav bikinis and one-piece suits. Kim even attempted sports, posing for a photo mid tennis match. Can’t say we’ve ever swung a racket while in swimwear–who knows, maybe it’s less restrictive?
Plus, luxury safari adventures, and private jets to Burning Man are also how celebs rolled this week.
19-year-old Kylie Jenner buys boyfriend Tyga a $260,000 sports car. Just ‘cause
King Kylie loves a good Snap Story (if you’re looking to kill some time, download the app, and add her). And this week, the reality star posted a series of snap vids of her, surprising boyfriend Tyga with a Bentley Bentayga. Because the rapper totally needed another luxury sports car. “So, fake stories came out today. The blogs almost ruined it and said me and T were at the Bentley dealership when really it was only me,” Jenner told her fans on Snapchat. “And I had to lie to T and say, ‘I have no idea, T, what the story is. I was not at a Bentley dealership.’ But I was!” Kylie, you little trickster, you!
Kim K continues to gallivant around Mexico in a bikini, sometimes playing sports
The caption on Kimmy’s Insta post really said it all: “Bikini tennis, anyone?” What’s next, bikini football? Wait, we had that…and it was… not great. But Mexico may not have been relaxing enough…
… because Kim then checked into a complimentary $30 million Airbnb penthouse suite in New York. FINALLY, some relaxation time. Is there room for us to come, too, K? We love a good trip to the Big Apple.
Drake proves paid advertising works, rents a billboard in downtown LA to praise Rihanna
Forget cards or flowers, billboards are where it’s at. At least, that’s the case when you’re Drake. To send his best wishes to main squeeze Riri (because, they’re totally a thing now, right!?) the rapper took the saying “go big or go home” quite literally. Nothing much bigger than a freaking billboard.
Lindsay Lohan parades around a super glam resort in Mykonos, Greece
Selfies always look better better under the Greek sun, all bronzed and relaxed. And that’s exactly how LiLo (omg, so 2007 right now) is looking this week. Her Insta feed is full of smizing selfies, luxe meals, and ocean views so picture-perfect, we’ll dream about them as we fall asleep in our regular old bed tonight.
Burning Man kicks off in Nevada, and Cara Delevigne, Paris Hilton et al descend on the desert
Most people rent an RV to travel to Burning Man. But not the rich. Paris Hilton’s camp flew their private jet to the art and music festival. We’re worried about how dirty Paris’ expensive wardrobe is going to get…
…but she’s not. Paris has already been caught embracing the dust by making dirt angels.

While the rest of us go to the zoo to take a selfie with the sad pandas, Ansel Elgort heads to Tanzania for a little Safari
The Fault in Our Stars’ actor Ansel Elgort is chilling with elephants in Africa. Because, Tuesday. Do you need another reason when you’re famous? Or maybe he’s celebrating the latest Prada fragrance campaign, which he’s the face of. Career wins, they’re a reason to celebrate! It’s just that we’d cook a nice meal at home or head to our fav restaurant to give ourselves a pat on the back…to each his own, we suppose.
Chris Brown and friends take to the court of Instagram
Chris Brown is in hot water again. Luckily, however, he’s got 30.6 million Instagram followers to tell just how wrong the justice system is…this time. Brown ranted about his detractors as people who wanna hate on him for no reason, and “know nothin’ about nothin’.” At least Ray J‘s got his back.
It’s just not the same when we rant to our 400 Facebook friends made up of college friends, colleagues and aunts.
