We get it. Just because they keep playing those Fifty Shades of Grey previews over and over again doesn’t meant that we’re anymore sold on the chemistry between leads Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. We’re even willing to bet that movie theatres banning people from bringing whips to the premiere are doing so in an attempt to avoid angry outbursts from viewers who may feel as though they’ve wasted their cash once the curtain closes.

To be fair, we’re still totally going to check the film out (after all, hate-watching is sort of like a sport these days), and we’ll hold out total judgment until after we’ve seen the whole thing. But the promotional interviews with the stars so far haven’t left us with much faith, given the fact that they’ve all but admitted they hate each other in real life. Then there’s the fact that the film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, apparently came to blows with author E.L. James at every turn.

Still, we’re suspending reality here, right? After all, isn’t it every woman’s fantasy to enter the Red Room of Pain and go at it until they’re feeling a little … um, chaffed? You get the point (no pun intended).

So in that spirit, we’re happy we “blocked” off some time to check out this amazing new promo. Two creative fans have gone ahead and made a Lego version of the trailer, which is a shot-for-shot frame re-creation of the original. So yes, we now have that sexy version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” back in our heads.

If you ask us, these Lego characters expound chemistry compared to Johnson and Dornan. Just look at the intense way they look at each other, or the way they shake when they hold hands. Heck, after perusing this for a second time, we’re even willing to bet that Lego Grey has more chiseled abs than Dornan Grey.

In other words? This will make your afternoon. Check it out for yourself, and then be sure to watch the side-by-side version comparing it to the original, as well:
