Our hearts will go on
Leonardo DiCaprio has been nominated for the SAG Awards several times but this past Saturday, his work in The Revenant finally got him a win. It wasn’t surprising when Julianne Moore announced his name in the Best Actor category but what made the win all the better was as he made his way to the stage, he made a quick beeline over to Kate Winslet, his longtime friend, former Titanic and Revolutionary Road leading lady, and his future wife (in our dreams).
It’s been quite the weekend for Leo, making little Jacob Tremblay‘s dreams come true…
… and showing us his one true love, the vape pen…
But come on. Leo and Kate FTW! We’ll never let go.
Céline Dion wrote a heartfelt letter to fans
The singer has been mourning husband René Angélil and brother Daniel Dion but still found time to send a touching message to her supporters.
“My family and I are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from so many people who have touched our lives during these past few days,” Dion wrote on her website. “We have felt your love for René, and your prayers and compassion have helped us during this most difficult time… more than you’ll ever know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I would also like to sincerely thank the Quebec Government for honoring René with National Funerals as well as the many individuals and organizations who came together to hold such a beautiful tribute in his name.
We will never forget all of the kindness that you have bestowed upon us. On behalf of our family, with all of our love, Céline, René-Charles, Nelson & Eddy…Patrick, Jean-Pierre & Anne-Marie.”
Dion and Angélil shared sons René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy. Patrick, Jean-Pierre and Anne-Marie are Angélil’s adult children from two previous marriages.
Dion is headed back to Las Vegas where she will resume her residency at Caesars Palace on Feb. 23, but before that, a celebration of Angélil’s life is slated to take place on Wednesday. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Céline and her entire family.

Drake calls out Kanye’s small pool in new single
Drake‘s hotly anticipated album, Views From the 6 won’t be out until April but if you want the first track, well, go get it.
While “Hotline Bling” is still being overplayed on Top 40 radio, we did hear a new tune from him last week when he was featured on Rihanna‘s just-released track, “Work.” But it’s in Drake’s single, “Summer Sixteen,” where he raps, “I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay. Now I got a house in L.A., now I got a bigger pool than ‘Ye.”
Before you can say “them’s fighting words,” Drake concludes with, “‘Ye’s pool is nice, mine’s just bigger is what I’m sayin’.” Phew! That could’ve been the start of an epic feud.
Bieber gave an impromptu concert on Saturday
Justin Bieber hit a club in West Hollywood on Saturday night, probably just to blow off some steam, maybe dance a little, but he ended up taking the stage when several of his songs played.
Even Biebs, who rapped a little with Kylie Jenner‘s BF, Tyga, was a little surprised by how popular his music has become with, well, adults, asking ominously: “How many people thought that you would like… Justin Bieber?”
Cindy Crawford announced she is hanging up her modeling hat
Legendary supermodel Cindy Crawford is turning 50 in a few weeks and she revealed that once she hits that milestone, she is retiring.
“I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore,” Crawford told Hemispheres magazine. “And that’s okay. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers.”
She added: “What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”
The iconic ’90s supermodel has had a full career and now she’s passing the posing torch to her two kids, Kaia and Presley Gerber, who got Cindy’s and their dad, Rande Gerber‘s genes and are successful in their own right.
