Luxury brand Chanel has a knack for selecting rising stars, and making them shine even brighter. So, it’s no surprise that they’ve named Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose, as their newest face.
Starring in the brand’s perfume campaign, Lily-Rose joins the ranks of other A-list beauties like Nicole Kidman, Keira Knightley, and Kate Moss. That’s a lot of stardom to live up to. No pressure or anything, Lily.
But the 16-year-old likely isn’t sweating over this new gig. She was born ready, with “Chanel It Girl” in her blood. Lily’s mom, singer and model Vanessa Paradis, starred in a Chanel fragrance advertisement back in the early ’90s, and also appeared in the brand’s makeup campaign for Rouge Coco lipstick more recently in 2010.
Literally, Lily-Rose got it from her mama, just as will.i.am suggests.
The mini Depp starlet is already tight with Chanel. Last year, she was the face of the brand’s successful eyewear campaign. (Please, can we have a peek inside your closet, Lily? We bet it’s pretty epic.)
Chanel is stoked to have her on board, too, posting a welcome announcement to their Insta account:

In any case, we’re looking forward to seeing more from this campaign. The Depps have a tendency to entertain, one way or another.
