Is there a more perfect moment than when two of your faves meet and document the whole thing on social media? We certainly don’t think so. That’s why we are fangirling HARD over Kristen Bell and Lin-Manuel Miranda meeting for the first time and practically crying over one another. We. Can’t.
Two of the most precious people on this planet are Kristen Bell (lover of sloths, entertainer of retirees and ANNA FROM FROZEN) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (creator of the best musical on the planet, Twitter life coach and MARY POPPINS’ BFF) so it’s a major injustice that it took them this long to meet. In a perfect world, they would have already collaborated on several projects by this year. Come on, world.
The fateful meeting happened at San Diego Comic-Con when Kristen spotted Lin-Manuel through a window and freaked out nearly as hard as the last time she saw a sloth (you remember this, right?). Her laugh-cry of excitement was so loud that it apparently caught Miranda’s attention, and the multi-hyphenate proceeded to let out his own cries of joy. Kristen shared the whole exchange in a series of increasingly more exciting Instagram videos. We heart this quality content.

Lin-Manuel shared the moment on Twitter and confirmed that the two made a scene by yelling “I love you!” at one another.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen two total strangers scream “I Love You!!” at each other across a crowded room but this is the picture we took right after we did that. @IMKristenBell #SanDiegoComicCon2019 pic.twitter.com/4jCriLD2Be

Kristen is at Comic-Con to promote the triumphant return of Veronica Mars (streaming NOW on Crave) and Lin is attending along with the cast for his upcoming BBC fantasy series, His Dark Materials.
Both being part of the Disney family, it feels like these two should already be BFFs, but it looks like their paths have never quite crossed, despite their obvious love from afar. They both attended the “Backstage at the Geffen” fundraiser last May where Miranda was honoured along with Dick Van Dyke and Bell sang a song that was cut from the Frozen film, but it looks like they never officially met at the event. Come on, Disney, make a Lin-Kristen movie happen.
For now, we guess we’ll just have to settle for re-watching this video over and over.
