Long-distance relationships are rough. I mean, I hysterically collapse into tears if I’m ever five feet away from bacon, so I can’t imagine how my body would react being miles away from my one true bae (luckily I’m single forever so this is not a problem for me 😢). But for two people in true love, stretching their love across states—or even continents, as you’re about to see—isn’t a burden. This buzzy new indie film shows the incredible strength that pulls two people together, even as one’s career pulls them apart.
10,000 Km stars David Verdaguer and Natalia Tena (who you may recognize as Tonks from three of the Harry Potter films) as a loving Barcelona couple happily living together when Tena’s character is offered a residency in Los Angeles. The latest in a string of movies that chronicle love in the digital age (it’s just so IN right now, y’know?), the film is earning rave reviews. The touching trailer below highlights the film’s ups and downs as the pair’s digital relationship truly tests their connection.
10,000 Km will be in select theatres July 10.
