Who knew that when Lost debuted in 2004 that some of the themes that went down on that mysterious island would actually become a part of 2020’s current reality? Many fans who were flabbergasted on March 19 when Kate, a.k.a. Evangeline Lilly, revealed she refuses to practice physical distancing, and joked that she must have had enough of that on the fictional island. One famous face who joins other fans and doesn’t find the situation the least bit lighthearted though? Lilly’s former co-star Maggie Grace.“There’s no need to panic, but at the same time this is about all of us – the vulnerable, the immunocompromised, older folks,” Us Magazine reports Grace as writing in response to Lilly’s original Instagram post, in which she revealed it was business as usual in her household (even though that household includes her immunocompromised father). “Sure, it’s a free country, but how about choosing to exercise some of that wonderful freedom to have some compassion, trust the extensive science here and not overwhelm health system.”

Think about how these small decisions effect [sic] your dad and those in your community as ventilators run out. You kids will be fine without gymnastics, I promise. Be well. PS Daniel said he is doing a lot better btw. I don’t know, Maybe you guys want to chat?”The actress was referring to another Lost co-star, Daniel Dae Kim, who tested positive for COVID-19 the same day Lilly took to social media to share her controversial opinions.“I am happy to report that my progress has continued and I feel practically back to normal. I am lucky to be in the 80 per cent of diagnosed cases that have not required hospitalization, that’s an important statistic,” Kim said in an Instagram video on March 21. “I’ve pretty much been staying in bed, taking my medication, but as of now I have no symptoms other than a little residual congestion which should clear up very soon.”Meanwhile Lilly continues to get grief from fans on social media for her stance on not physical distancing, and for accusing the government of trying to control and scare citizens. Meanwhile, as her followers try to talk some sense into her, Marvel has reportedly also dropped her from the next Ant-Man movie because of the situation.“I have two young kids. Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives,” Lilly wrote on March 16 while enjoying some tea after dropping her kids off at gymnastics. “We all make our choices.”We sure do. Although almost everyone in Hollywood is physical distancing right now as productions across the board have shut down or been delayed (California is currently under a stay-home order and has been since March 19—three days after Lilly’s post), Grace has been keeping herself busy on the small screen since her Lost days. After starring alongside Liam Neeson in the Taken franchise she’s appeared in David Duchovny’s Californication and was also in Fear the Walking Dead. So… maybe she knows a thing or two about how viruses spread?Regardless, the 36-year-old also decided to try and spread some cheer during these weird times by announcing she and her husband, actor Brent Bushnell, are expecting their first child together this summer.
“In the midst of these uncertain times, we’ve been blessed with a joyful reminder of what’s most important. Our first little one will be joining us this summer,” she shared. “Sending love to you and your families, may you stay safe and healthy.”And, away from gymnastics.[video_embed id='1927489']BEFORE YOU GO: This couple's hilarious horse dance has gone viral[/video_embed]
