As the sun continues to beat down during the last few weeks of summer, we all want to do one thing: hop into the cool water of any glorious swimming pool. And that’s just what some black bears in Vancouver, B.C., did a few days ago.
When a North Vancouver family was hanging out in their living room and heard a splash in their pool, they didn’t expect to see this:
Creatures of all kinds are sweltering hot in the drought-ravaged B.C. mountains, so bear sightings are on the rise as they come down to look for food and enjoy cooler weather.
Apparently, these two cubs and their mama spent several hours chilling in the pool; they even basked poolside before leaving.
“Oh, it was so cute. They were just enjoying the water and playing together,” said the homeowner to CTV News (in the video above).
