The Toronto Maple Leafs might not be looking so great right now, but their fans certainly are.

A new video, filmed Tuesday, shows the opening of the Nashville Predators vs. Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game. As the anthem singer was belting out the words The Star-Spangled Banner, her microphone suddenly cut out. So what did the Canadian fans do?

We finished the American anthem for her, picking up right where she left off.

In hockey, that’s just about as classy as you can get. The heartwarming gesture mirrored an incident that happened shortly after the shooting at Parliament Hill, when the Pittsburgh Penguins decided to play the Canadian national anthem in tribute, even though two American teams were on the ice.

Check out the video above, and prepare to feel filled with Canadian pride.

P.S. The Leafs lost 9-2.
