Joey just managed to score another gig, and he’s headed across the pond.
It was just announced that Matt LeBlanc is the newest host of the popular UK motoring show Top Gear. The Friends alum and Episodes star is taking over the driver’s seat from the show’s long-time motor-head Jeremy Clarkson.
LeBlanc, who’s appeared on Top Gear a number of times over the years, will be hosting the show along with Chris Evans (sorry…not that Chris Evans. We’re not THAT lucky), and seems pretty “revved up” about it.
“As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter.”
Evans (not Evans) appears to be equally pumped about his new co-host, who still holds a Top Gear record for being the fastest-ever “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.”
“Matt’s a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I’m thrilled he’s joining Top Gear. Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we’ll both be debating some epic road trip ideas. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to on screen later this year,”
LeBlanc will say “how you doin’?” to Top Gear fans starting in May.
In the meantime, let’s relive some of his previous full-throtle magic:
