It seems like Melissa McCarthy can do no wrong these days. Between her final season on Mike & Molly, an amazing hosting gig recently on Saturday Night Live, a slew of box office hits and a role in the upcoming all-female Ghostbusters, she’s pretty much everywhere.

And we’re really digging it.

And now we’re going to add lip-sync songstress extraordinaire to that list as well. McCarthy appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night and not only did she look fantastic but she positively slayed it with a performance of DMX’s “Gonna Give it To Ya.” The look on Fallon’s face as she performs pretty much says it all.

Fallon was really no match for the performer, who has been likened to this generation’s Lucille Ball. Given her ability to use her entire body in her performances to make people laugh it’s not hard to see why.

He certainly tried though — we’re not calling his own performances a loss just yet. Fallon broke out a pillow and writhed around on the floor to try and top McCarthy’s exuberant number, but she just came right on back with some safety goggles and a performance of “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas. Think props, dance moves, the whole nine yards.

Basically, it didn’t take long for viewers to figure out what the goggles were for — not once the wind machine kicked in.

Keep it up Mel, we’re loving every minute of it.

Check out the entire performance, above.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:30 p.m. ET on CTV Two.
