Okay, so that there is Caitlyn Jenner. Gorgeous, right? When Bruce Jenner made the announcement that he would live his life as the gender he feels himself to be, people the world over were proud. Some even cried.
And now, she’s here, and gracing the cover of Vanity Fair. And shot by Annie Liebovitz to boot!
The title of the piece is “Call me Caitlyn,” in which the woman herself is quoted, saying, “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.’ ”
Thank goodness that didn’t happen! She’s living her life the way she wants, which is something we’ve been noticing a lot lately in the world of beauty. Remember Madeline Stuart and Tess Holliday? We love all of these women and wish more would accept who they are, no matter what that may look like.
Doesn’t she look a little like Daryl Hannah meets Jessica Lange? Gorgeous.

UPDATE: Jessica Lange has heard about people (like us) seeing similarities between her and Caitlyn Jenner. Her response? “That’s so wonderful.” Today is Caitlyn’s day and no one is going to take it away from her.
