Move over, The Shopping Channel, there’s a new home shopping network in town and you’re actually going to want to use it. Launched on October 10, NTWRK is a mobile-based shopping app targeted at millennials, bringing exclusive drops and limited-edition products to users, plus entertaining shows in-between.

Founded by Aaron Levant, the guy behind ComplexCon festival and Agenda trade shows, and backed by some serious investors including Warner Bros, LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger, NTWRK has an all-star team behind it that will undoubtedly help contribute to its success.

Like a television shopping show, the app will run a variety of programs with different themes and guests. According to Hollywood Reporter, Levant described NTWRK as, “Like Home Shopping Network, but what the Gen Z, millennial, mobile-first version of that looks like with highly curated taste and access to big personalities.”

The shows will be hosted by celebrities, musicians and other public figures — the first episode was led by DJ Khaled and Sean Andre.

For the first year, NTWRK plans to launch a shopping show and a late-night talk show which will air a few days throughout the week. Levant explained that they will collab with “top brands in fashion, tech, sneakers, toys and collectibles.” Their first product? A pair of limited-edition Beats by Dre headphones featuring a design by street artist, RETNA.

Forbes reported that the price range of these exclusive products will be from $45 to $300, but there will some one-off products that may be priced much higher, “think a car or a limited edition, rare or collectible item”.

It’s too early on to say whether or not NTWRK will be a hit, but it definitely has a good thing going for it. From the exclusive products to the unique format (which is not too far off from the popular game app, HQ Trivia) to the roaster of celebrity hosts, we can see it becoming the next “thing” in no time.
