Lifetime has found its Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!
The couple’s romantic adventure is going to be chronicled in a movie for the network titled Harry and Meghan: The Royal Love Story, and the leads have just been announced.
Parisa Fitz-Henley (Jessica Jones) is a dead ringer for the former American actress and bride-to-be, but the same can’t quite be said for the actor chosen to play the groom.
Murray Fraser (Victoria) has been cast as the royal ginger and third-in-line to the British throne, Prince Harry. In his defense, Harry has a very unique look that would be difficult for any actor to try and replicate, but we bet he’ll be studying his mannerisms and accent to try and nail the famous prince.

Fitz-Henley, 41, shares several features with Markle and at first glance, she has us doing a double take! From their brown eyes to dark hair to dazzling smiles, the two are twinning big time.
According to Deadline, the film will be directed by Menhaj Huda (The Royals on E!) and will most likely premiere ahead of the real life couple’s nuptials at St. George Chapel on May 19th.
This isn’t the first time a royal romance has appeared on the small screen. As is the case with nearly everything, Meghan and Harry are following in the footsteps of Will and Kate (the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) who were the subject of Lifetime’s 2011 William and Kate: The Movie, which introduced audiences to their early beginnings at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Following a similar premise, Harry and Meghan: The Royal Love Story will present a fictional retelling of their past, including their first “blind date” set up by a mutual friend, their secret courtship, and going public. It will also explore the intensifying spotlight that engulfs them but our fingers are crossed for a reenactment of the intimate and cozy cottage proposal!
Meghan is no stranger to made-for-TV movies having starred in a few herself, although our personal favourites are a close tie between Hallmark Channel’s When Sparks Fly and Dater’s Handbook.
While these actors get to work on the TV movie, Kensington Palace announced Tuesday that the real Harry and Meghan will be whisked away to Edinburgh, Scotland on February 13, igniting speculation that’s where they’ll celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as fiancés.Meghan MarkleMoviesPrince HarryRoyals
