Megan Fox has filed to dismiss her divorce from husband Brian Austin Green almost three years after the actor first filed for divorce back in August 2015. The pair reconciled in 2016, when they announced that Fox was pregnant with their third child together. Still, it’s taken Meghan almost three years to finally dismiss the divorce. We get it. Paperwork can be such a pain.

Fox and Green, who is best known for his glow-up while playing David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210, first met while appearing on a 2004 episode of the sitcom Hope & Faith. The pair began dating shortly after meeting and Green proposed in 2006. Fox called off their engagement in 2009, but Green proposed a second time in 2010 and they were wed a month later. The couple now share sons Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, with Megan also stepmom to Brian’s 17-year-old son Kassius from a previous marriage.

So yeah, they’re that annoying friend couple who are constantly breaking up and getting back together and you have to be supportive each time and never say anything bad about their partner because you just know they’ll be back together in a week. They’re those two.

In 2015, it appeared as though Fox and Green were done for good, with Fox filing for divorce. But they once again reconciled and confirmed they were back together in May 2016, with Fox pregnant with the pair’s third child. Like we said, never bad-mouth the ex.

We love that the couple are making it work, especially with kids in the mix, but we can’t help but think that the pair first getting together when Megan was 18 years old and Brian was 30 was maybe a bit much.

Hopefully Fox’s move to dismiss the divorce filings is a sign that the pair are in a healthy place. Or, maybe it was just becoming an issue to file their taxes together with a divorce petition hanging over their heads. Again, paperwork is the worst, right?
