Over the weekend, the Palace had announced that Duchess Meghan would be cutting back her schedule “slightly for the next couple of days,” before they head off on the final leg of their tour and hit Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand (not to mention a brief return to Sydney). A royal insider revealed that it’s her husband who wants her to slow down, saying, “She wants to do everything, but Prince Harry is encouraging her to pace herself,” so she’s been respectful and listened to his concerns. Day 7 found them on Fraser Island, a couple hours north of Sydney, where upon arrival, they split up; she headed to the resort at which they were staying, while Harry went to the first of three now-solo engagements.

Once Harry dedicated the Forests of K’gari to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, met local elders and park rangers at Lake McKenzie and learned about the island’s logging trade, he and Meghan were reunited. See, all she needed was a few hours rest before getting back at it. The couple strolled the Kingfisher Bay Jetty, where she sweetly cradled her growing bump, before meeting with fans.

A royal aide insisted that Meg “isn’t sick” and “was very keen to re-join the duke at the last engagement of the day to greet the people of the island.” And that she did. Meghan looked fresh as a daisy in her floaty Reformation dress while chatting with the locals.

No worries, people. It’s back to business tomorrow as the couple head to Fiji and Meghan’s schedule goes back to normal.

Phew, we’ve missed her! And, yes, while we want Megs to get her rest, we also want to see her. Because the more Meghan we can get, the better we, and the rest of the world, are for it. Yay to more Meghan! Uh, and Harry too.
