Meghan Markle is planning her post-royal family career, and that could include a return to her former job as an actor. The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly putting out feelers for professional representation and is hoping to begin acting once again.A source close to Markle told Us Weekly that the 38-year-old former Suits star is “actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach. It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects.”Although Meghan is likely looking for someone who’s in the TV and film industry full time, she’s already got a bit of a husband-ger in Prince Harry. The Duke was caught on camera chatting with Disney CEO Bob Iger at The Lion King premiere in 2019 and was apparently pitching his wife for future voice-over work. “You know she does voiceovers,” Harry can be heard saying as he gestures towards his wife. “She’s really interested.” Iger agreed, saying, “Sure. We’d love to try.”Harry’s sell job worked, and Meghan has already booked her first non-royal gig in three years. Combining her love of acting and one of the many philanthropic causes close to her heart, Markle has signed a deal with Disney to provide voiceovers for a documentary in return for a donation from the company to the charity Elephants Without Borders.[video_embed id='1884550']RELATED: Ellen responds to the rumours of a Meghan Markle interview[/video_embed]In a new interview this week for the upcoming TMZ and Fox documentary Harry & Meghan: Royals In Crisis, businessman and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban predicted that now that Harry and Meghan are free to explore opportunities away from the royal family, they could make an ‘ungodly amount of money.’ Comparing the couple to the Obamas, who have scored lucrative book and TV deals since leaving the White House, Cuban believes “As long as they stay authentic, as long as they limit their projects and don’t try to sell everything and anything, then I think they are the new Obamas.”Netflix chief Ted Sarandos has already confirmed that he would be interested in working with the couple, and both Meghan and Harry would have no problem earning a significant advance if they decided to release a memoir.Harry is already headed to television, having announced last April that he was partnering with Oprah Winfrey to release a docu-series on mental illness and mental wellness. The project does not have a release date but will appear on Apple TV.As for Meghan, her acting opportunities will likely be plentiful. Markle spent six years starring on the legal drama Suits, which filmed in Toronto, before retiring from acting to marry Prince Harry. Following the couple’s split from the royal family earlier this month, Meghan and Harry agreed that although they would no longer be working for the Queen, their actions would “continue to uphold the values of Her Majesty.” We’re thinking less Hustlers, more Little Women.Meghan and Harry have recently relocated to the Vancouver area where they are currently living with baby Archie. There’s no shortage of movies and TV series being filmed in BC and Toronto, so maybe viewers will even get to see Meghan in another Canadian-shot project.[video_embed id='1887511']Before you go: Here's how the royals are championing mental health[/video_embed]
