The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly made a surprise visit to New York City for the first time since before her wedding. According to Harper’s BAZAAR, she’ll be in the city for a few days of rest and relaxation with some of her closest friends before Baby Sussex arrives.

It’s no secret that since becoming Duchess, Meghan has been incredibly busy with the royal agenda. A source close to Meghan says that the trip is “a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves.” The source also says that this will be the last time a lot of them will get to see the Duchess until after the baby is born in late April.

Meghan’s friends will be throwing a baby shower while she’s in town on Tuesday, February 19 with 15 of her closest friends at a private location (and will definitely be sending her back home to London with more than enough onesies)!

Later on this week, after she returns to London, Meghan will be taking her last flight until the baby is born. She and hubby Prince Harry will be heading to Morocco for an official two-day visit arranged by the British government.

With her final two trips before the baby arrives so close together, we can expect she’ll begin making her final arrangements for delivery once back home in London. Less than two months away until Baby Sussex’s arrival and we’re all excited to see the final stretch play out!
