We can’t exactly envision Meghan Markle‘s bachelorette party looking like the ones we see downtown on a Saturday night. Picture it: Meghan wearing a huge sash saying “Duchess-to-be” alongside Kate Middleton taking swigs from a penis-shaped flask. Serena Williams trails behind them wearing a dollar-store tiara that proudly says “Bridesmaid.” Yeah……..no. While the traditional image of a bachelorette party might conjure up images of matching sparkly dresses and strolling down Bourbon St. a little tipsy, it’s probably not the kind of shenanigans future royalty would partake in. Think of the tabloid headlines!

Don’t be too sad for Megs though, Vogue reports that instead of a night of drunken debauchery, she had a glorious spa day with a few trusted friends. Though the spa in question has yet to be confirmed, rumour has it that Meghan spent it at one of her favourites, the members-only Soho Farm House in Oxfordshire. The property boasts an indoor/outdoor swimming pool at the boathouse, a private cinema, tennis courts, boats, a football pitch and also offers the option of discovering “the local area in a BMW 13.” Totally casual stuff.

The spa’s treatment services include manicures, pedicures, massages and mud and body therapies, perfect to unwind with while gossiping about the Queen. The Times reports that rumoured attendees included fashion designer Misha Nonoo and Meghan and Harry’s own personal cupid, Violet von Westenholz. Meghan’s future sister-in-law Kate was unfortunately not in attendance and resting from her pregnancy.

Ditching a sweaty nightclub and tacky party favours for horse back riding, private beauty treatments, luxury swimming and then unwinding in your own personal cinema? We like your style, Meghan.
