From actress to royalty, here's a chronological look at how versatile and effortless her looks can be.

Invictus Games, Toronto, September 2017

Meghan and Harry’s first appearance was at the Invictus Games in Toronto in September 2017. Meghan wore a pair of ripped Mother Denim jeans that had us wondering if the Queen would approve, in addition to a Misha Nonoo shirt, Sarah Flint ballet flats, an Everlane tote bag in cognac and cute tortoise shell sunglasses from Finlay & Co. 

Engagement announcement, Clarence House, England, November 2017

Meghan and Prince Harry’s engagement announcement was all the more iconic thanks to Markle’s gorgeous ensemble. Debuting the beautiful Cleave ring Harry designed, Meghan showed off a Canadian Line the Label white coat, which has since been renamed “The Meghan.”  During an engagement interview, we also got a glimpse of the darling dark green P.A.R.O.S.H dress Meghan wore to mark the special occasion.

Nottingham, England, December 2017

For the newly-engaged couple's first official engagement in Nottingham, all eyes were on Meghan. The former actress repped Canada in a navy blue Mackage coat sent to Kensington Palace specifically for the occasion. She paired a Wolford black bodysuit with a soft pleated beige Joseph skirt and finished the look with a pair of Kurt Geiger over-the-knee suede boots, and a burgundy leather handbag by Strathberry.

Christmas Day, Sandringham, England, December 2017

Meghan gave us the greatest Christmas gift of all with this outfit! During the royal family’s Christmas Day festivities, Meghan was the talk of the town in this wide collar Sentaler coat and nutmeg Stuart Weitzman boots. Even more noteworthy were the accessories: a Philip Treacy deep brown hat, a saffron red Chloe handbag and dark tan leather gloves from Marks & Spencer.

Cardiff, Wales, January 2018

In Meghan’s first royal trip to Wales, the Duchess-to-be pulled off a super sleek black look. Her outerwear game was strong in a beautiful Stella McCartney tie-up trench, an Everlane cashmere scarf and a DeMellier London forest green handbag. Underneath, she wore a Theory Wool off-the-shoulder checkered jacket, slim-legged Hiut Denim jeans and a pair of Tabitha Simmons boots.

Edinburgh, Scotland, February 2018

Meghan made Edinburgh Castle her runway wearing her best accessory: her smile. She was feeling the Scottish vibe, opting for a Burberry double-breasted tartan coat that met the approval of her fans. She finished the outfit with a black Wolford turtleneck, wide legged Veronica Beard pants, a Strathberry East/West bottle green cross-body purse, and cutout Jimmy Choo booties.

International Women's Day, Birmingham, England March 2018

On International Women’s Day, Meghan didn’t mind wrinkling her outfit to give the girls of Birmingham a few hugs. Wrapped up in a two-tone navy J. Crew coat, Meghan brought along a matching navy blue leather Altuzarra handbag. She kept cozy in an AllSaints crème funnel neck jumper, Alexander Wang cropped trousers and a cute pair of Manolo Blahnik suede pumps

Commonwealth Day service, London, England, March 2018

Meghan brought her fashion-forward style to the Commonwealth Day service in March, where the fashionista wore a sleek but relaxed fit Amanda Wakeley cream coat and a chic matching Stephen Jones fascinator.  She matched her dress with Manolo Blahnik suede pumps and clutched on to her Mulberry navy leather purse.

Belfast, Northern Ireland, March 2018

Meghan wore a jaw-dropping outfit during her surprise trip to Northern Ireland. Check out that teal Greta Constantine skirt, cream Victoria Beckham knit top and our favourite: the tobacco Jimmy Choo velvet pumps. She kept warm in an elegant nude Mackage coat and matched her shoes with a tobacco coloured Charlotte Elizabeth tote.

Commonwealth Youth Forum, London, England, April 2018

On a lovely warm day in London, Meghan attended the Commonwealth Youth Forum Reception in a smart and stylish outfit. Meghan wore a beautiful Altuzarra pinstripe stretch-cotton dress and Tamara Mellon heels. Draped over her shoulders was a sophisticated Camilla and Marc blazer. Completing the look, Meghan wore a black and white crossbody bag by Oroton Avalon.

Women’s Empowerment Reception, London, England, April 2018

The duchess-to-be attended the CHOGM Women’s Empowerment Reception in an elegant head-to-toe black ensemble. Dawning a Halo dress, Aquazurra black lace-up pumps and a Gucci velvet clutch, this outfit was flawless. Fans quickly pointed out that Meghan’s dress is an iconic style which has been worn by other A-list celebs like Blake Lively and her Suits replacement Katherine Heigl.

The Queen's birthday, London, England, April 2018

Meghan attended the Queen’s 92nd birthday in style. She matched with her fiance Harry in a beautiful navy blue look. The event took place at the Royal Albert Hall and featured star-studded performances, but Meghan stole the show in her elegant Stella McCartney cape dress. She complemented the outfit nicely with a golden Naeem Khan bag and simple navy suede Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Anzac Day service, London, England, April 2018

Meghan attended her first Anzac Day service in Londonin April, beginning her day at 5 a.m. in a smart outfit that included a wide black brimmed hat, a Smythe Pagoda grey jacket, Sarah Flint pumps and a velvet Gucci clutch. Later in the day, Meghan switched outfits for the Anzac Day Service at Westminister Abbey. The former Suits star wore a Bespoke blazer and skirt, a Philip Treacy dragonfly detailed beret, Manolo black suede pumps and carried a Jimmy Choo clutch.
