The soon-to-be Princess Henry of Wales – yes, it’s a confusing title – has yet another affordable and relatable beauty tip. Meghan Markle, former star of Suits and recently announced fiancé to Prince Harry, the British throne’s fifth in line, shared the secret to her beautifully voluminous and full-bodied mane of hair.
In an interview with Birchbox, Meghan shared the simple tip she picked up from her hairstylist on the long-running US show: “There is nothing like a hair flip! When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward and she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray or nothing at all, and then has me ‘flip back hard’ to give my hair a little extra bounce.”
The $46 spray, which builds volume and adds texture, will really make the most of the full-bodied effect. But not to worry – even without the spray, your hair is sure to look fuller, and you won’t have to pay a dime. A spritz of volumizing hairspray to lock in that bounce might come in handy, though.
We’re glad Meghan’s got such tips and tricks up her sleeve – she’s sure to need them in her new Royal role, which will see her in front of the camera more often than not, and with possibly more scrutiny of her physical appearance than she’s currently used to as an actress.
We already know she’s all about the best thing that works, having recently shared her favourite skincare lotion (a surprisingly affordable Nivea cream). And if she needs any tips, she can always ask new sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who knows a thing or two about classic waves.
