The Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s first stop on Day 14 of their tour, now in Wellington, was at Maraniu Cafe. There was a crowd eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of them, which Harry and Meghan acknowledged before heading inside for a meeting with local youths who work on mental health projects.

And based on Harry’s speeches during the Invictus Games, where he reiterated the importance of recognizing that mental health is just as vital as physical health, you know he was proud of them for all their excellent work.

But it was what went on after the meeting that will have you swooning. If you noticed, there was a tray of delectable desserts that went untouched. The cafe had loads of treats laid out in preparation for their royal guests and Meghan wanted to make sure none of it went to waste, asking that the cakes and bars and cookies be taken outside and given to the kids.

It’s the little things — and little people — that mean so much.

And whoever said skipping school was a bad idea didn’t know that this could happen. Lucky kiddos.
