Another day, another Melania Trump outfit to ponder. This time, the First Lady attended a tree planting ceremony at the White House wearing a Valentino garden brocade skirt and a very interesting footwear choice. While one would normally garden in some flats, sandals or possibly even go barefoot, Melania decided to go a completely different route.
That’s right. In sky-high pink pointed patent Louboutins, Melania grabbed a shovel and began to get down and dirty, helping to plant saplings on the White House grounds. And as always, the internet had their opinions.
Some were less than amused.
Just think of all the lunches that could’ve been bought at a local school for the price of those high heels you ruined in the dirt.
Such a thoughtful 1st lady.

Seriously who gardens in high heels 👠 & a dress 👗.

Are those heels a part of her contract or something? They look remarkably uncomfortable and impractical.

Others pointed out that, given her model background, she could probably do anything in heels.
I actually love her, but I was wondering who in the hell can plant a tree in 6 inch shoes. However, I get tired of hearing about her shoes. She was a runway model so I guess she can probably do anything in heels.

Others were strangely inspired.
I hope someone as gracious, plants a tree for me when I die. A dress and heels are great, as I believe you should always dress wonderfully, everyday, to show professionalism and respect.

As we know, this isn’t the first time Melania’s been on trial for her wardrobe choices. Remember that infamous “I really don’t care do u?” Zara jacket? And if we’re to believe Omarosa, then we know all of Melania’s sartorial choices are 100 per cent calculated. In that case, maybe she’s just trying to (slowly) aerate the lawn?
