It was just over a week ago that Michael Bublé gave us all an update on how his son, Noah, is “progressing well” as he undergoes treatment for cancer. It’s what we’ve all been wishing and praying for, and here’s hoping all the love and support Michael and Luisana have received will help see the entire family through this journey.
But Michael wasn’t done sharing. He’s a giver, so a few days later, he shared a gift with his fans. Not as personal as his words about Noah, but it was equally from the heart. And, he did what he does best: he told us through song. Yup, the new video for his single “I Believe in You” was just released and it’s about as feel-good as it gets.
It explores the evolution of a couple, beginning with a boy noticing a girl and helping her with her books, graduates to the youngsters as preteens, doing their homework and innocently holding hands, then to them all grown up, married, with kids. They have their ups and downs but seeing them overcome it all and grow old together is the happily ever after we all wanted to see.
Which is exactly what director, choreographer and star Derek Hough was aiming for. Sure, it might seem like a routine straight out of Dancing With the Stars but it’ll touch you. And if you’re thinking of skipping the tissues, think again.
It’s how we all want life to be: simple, filled with love and laughter. And dancing. Lots of dancing.
