Michael Jordan‘s house is for sale. We know because his “luxury real estate specialist” has been making fantastic promotional videos like you see above.
This $14.9 million (USD, of course), 56,000 square foot estate in Highland Park, Illinois is like a cult classic horror flick in that it’s terrible in most ways yet we’re still drawn to it.
Speaking of cult classics, here’s another of those videos:
Maybe it’s that familiar 90s feel, the neon tube lights in the entertainment room (are those black lights?), the squared-off ceiling corners in the living room, or the small glass island in the middle of the driveway. But you can see why they’ve cut the price by $15 million. (Why they didn’t at least try to sell it for $23 million, remains a mystery.)
They’re calling it the Michael Jordan of Homes, which makes 105 per cent sense, as it was owned and lived in by the retired NBA superstar for 19 years. In terms of Jordan memorabilia, it doesn’t get much more legit than this. He quite literally left his mark all over the place with the classic spread-eagled silhouette the Jordan family couldn’t get enough of appearing in several locations and a great big number 23 on the front gate….not to be confused with the address.
