Well this a pile of chicken $#!%.

Mila Kunis is being sued by a woman claiming to be her best Ukrainian friend over a pet chicken named “Doggie”. Kristina Karo says that 25 years ago when she was in the first grade with the Hollywood star, they became inseparable. Kunis allegedly made regular visits to Karo’s childhood home, where she bonded with the unusual pet at the property’s chicken farm. Karo says she loved that chicken like a dog, and that Kunis was starting to get close to it as well.

That’s where this chicken tale allegedly takes a dark turn.

Karo says that Doggie suddenly disappeared, and that Kunis later confessed to stealing the animal saying “Kristina, you can have any other chicken as a pet, you have a whole chicken farm”, according to TMZ.

Karo, who is pursuing a singing career in L.A., said the loss of her pet sent her into an emotional tailspin, causing her to attend therapy.

Now that years have passed and the two women both live in the same city again, Karo says the proximity is bringing back all the bad memories and visions of her old pet being stolen away, causing her to return to therapy once again.

Karo is now suing the actress for $5,000 for emotional distress and medical costs, arguing that the trauma prevented her from pursuing the American dream.

Kunis has since responded to news of the lawsuit, saying she was “devastated” and “weeping” after hearing about it. She denies allegations that she stole the pet, and questioned the timing of the lawsuit as Karo is also currently trying to promote a music video. Kunis said she’s also considering launching a countersuit.
