The news, as of late, has not been good, what with all the madness and sadness happening around the world. So we figured you needed a nice change of pace, a story that will remind you that there are still sweet, decent people that walk amongst us, people who perform incredible acts of kindness without hesitation, no questions asked.
People like John.
According to a post on the Love What Matters Facebook page, Coty Vincent, a mom of twins, had to get a rental car after she was involved in a hit-and-run accident. It was clearly not the best day as she walked into Enterprise holding both babies because she didn’t have a double stroller. She could’ve been paired with any of the employees in the place but because fate works in magical, mysterious ways, Coty got John.
John, himself a twin, offered to hold one of Coty’s sons while they went through the paperwork and Vincent had to share how awesome that was.
Ermagerd. Look how intensely Coty’s son is playing with John’s shirt and him just going about his business.
Coty’s post, which went viral because we all love and need a feel-good story nowadays, resulted in Enterprise sharing their appreciation with Coty and John.
Well done, Enterprise. And well done, John. John proves that one simple gesture can change someone’s day, not to mention outlook on life, for the better. Kindness. Pass it on. It’s that easy. Be like John. Be a John.
