Guess what ladies. You may be happily married to a dude — heck, you may even have kids together — but according to science, you’re probably not straight. That’s because according to a new study, most women are either bisexual or gay.

Holy confusing gender lines, huh?

Let’s back up a bit though. This all traces back to a study from the Department of Psychology at the University of Essex. In it, 345 women were shown videos of both naked men and women. The researchers then analyzed the women’s responses to see their levels of stimulation, namely, whether their pupils dilated when they saw sexy images.

Overall, 82 per cent of the women were aroused by both sexes. And of the women who identified as straight, 74 per cent of them were turned on by videos of attractive men and women. Roughly translated, that could mean that roughly three out of every four women are bisexual.

So… does this really mean that women can’t be straight in the traditional sense of the word? Or does it mean that women just know how to appreciate another beautiful woman when she sees one? Or maybe, it just means that sexuality is mostly fluid, and we’re that much closer to blurring those preconceived notions about sexual orientation than ever before.

Whatever it is, the bottom line here seems to be that all women are beautiful and worth looking at. So take that, science.
