You get up in the morning, you go to work, and by the middle of the day you could really use a pick-me-up. And we’re not talking about a coffee. A mid-day nap is often just what you need to keep going throughout the day.
Well Toronto now has ‘Snooze Stations’ throughout the city, through “The Snooze Room,” so you can get a bit of shut-eye in the middle of the day! We know we miss having daily naps, so these stations sound too good to be true!
The stations are set up in Yorkville, Liberty Village and The Fashion District. To take a nap, all you have to do is book a station online. (So you do have to know in advance when you’ll be feeling sleepy). But booking in advance is a small price to pay for some needed rest during the day.
The stations are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends; plenty of opportunity for you to book your nap. Unfortunately the stations are only going to be available in August, so you better book now if you want to take a nap!
The stations are set up as an advertisement for mattresses, but still, they’re comfy, and it means you can nap during the work day. Grabbing some zzzz’s is important for all of us. Plus, you can say you’ve slept in a giant travelling bedroom, which is pretty cool!
We think there should always be nap stations around, you never know when you’re going to need a little mid-day shut-eye. We know we’re going to book a nap.
