The people of Chicago are celebrating the end of a terrible era. On November 2, 2016, the city’s baseball team broke a curse so cruel even Chi-Town native Bill Murray couldn’t suppress his joy.

Yes, the Chicago Cubs beat Cleveland’s baseball team in game seven to win Major League Baseball’s World Series, for the first time in 108 years. It was magical and it was glorious. Of course, the internet’s favourite astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, had to weigh in on the momentous occasion by reminding us how long it’s been since that city’s won it all, in his own Neil-deGrasse-Tyson way.

Yep, there’s more.

And, he closed off on a high (and shady) note.

Don’t ever change, Neil.
