Remember that time in the summer when Disney finally released a promo for the big screen adaptation of Into the Woods, but everyone lost their crap because there was no singing, just a bunch of characters making wishes?

It seems Disney has heard the general disappointment and granted a wish of its own with a second trailer, which was released on Wednesday. In it, we’re reintroduced to a slew of characters, including a decked out, singing Meryl Streep who naturally commands the entire two minutes and 40 seconds as the Witch. However, as the trailer warns, be careful what you wish for. Streep is the only actress who can actually be seen singing in the promo. So those holding out for Anna Kendrick singing “Cups 2.0” will remain disappointed.

Still, if you’re a fan of fairy tale musicals, this will get you pretty jazzed up for the Christmas Day release.

Check it out, and be sure to start your under-over on who will be the Pierce Brosnan to Streep (a la Mama Mia!) on this cast, in terms of singing talent (or lack of).
