Remember when we excitedly told you about a new discount airline launching in Canada, and then broke the sad news that they were halting flights before they even had a chance to take off? Well, good news again because they’re back in action!

NewLeaf Travel has been given the all-clear from the Canadian Transportation Agency to operate without a license. Don’t worry though, it’s perfectly safe and totally legit. Since the company technically operates as a flight re-seller, they don’t require a separate business license from the airline that actually operates their flights, which in this case is BC-based Flair Airlines.

This is great news for all Canadians who are tired of paying through the nose for domestic flights, as NewLeaf prices start at just $89. There’s no exact date for when NewLeaf will begin selling tickets once again, but knowing how eager they are (and we are!) to get in the air, we suspect NewLeaf will be hitting a runway near you very, very soon.
