If smiling’s your favourite, then Nick Jonas‘ latest video of Priyanka Chopra is for you. You might find it hard to believe, but there are actual humans on the planet that haven’t seen the movie Elf. And Priyanka is one of them.

Warner Bros.

Right? Maybe Chopra simply doesn’t have time to kick back and watch a lot of TV, or maybe Christmas movies haven’t been her genre of choice in previous years, but, really, all one has to do is turn on a TV in the month of December and Elf will be on. But, nope. Priyanka had never seen it — until this week.

Warner Bros.

OK, whoa, Buddy. It’s all good because Jonas finally introduced his new wife to arguably the best modern holiday movie ever, and she clearly loved it. Phew! No need to file those divorce papers, Nick. And because Nick is some sort of cotton-headed ninny-muggins, he decided to secretly record Priyanka watching it, so we could all see for ourselves just how invested she was in Buddy the Elf and whether or not he would actually save Santa and Christmas.

Her first time watching Elf. 😍 🎄 @priyankachopra

Spoiler alert (for all you uninitiated, though we thought Pri was the only one) — he does.

Warner Bros.

After multiples viewings, it’s hard to remember exactly what we were feeling the first time we watched the Will Ferrell classic, but not sure if anyone was as immersed in the experience as Chopra was. Her reactions are priceless, as is Nick’s face, lit up from the sheer joy she’s getting from the movie.

The best way to spread Christmas cheer may be singing loud for all to hear, but watching Priyanka watching Elf might be the greatest gift of all.
