Is Nickyanka not the cutest? Even when they’re apart they’re still finding ways to be total #CoupleGoals. Ahead of Priyanka’s The Sky is Pink TIFF premiere Friday night, Nick sent his wifey 100 pink roses in honour of accomplishment. This is Priyanka’s first actor-producer credit and her first film where she’s billed as Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Nick couldn’t join his wife in Toronto because he’s currently touring with a little band called the Jonas Brothers, but Priyanka told etalk he’s seen the film and cried appropriately. Nick also took to Instagram Stories to send some love and support to his wife and her cast.
As TIFF 2019 winds down, Priyanka was the star of the show Friday, but Kerry Washington showed some love to the city as she jetted out and TIFF began making its award announcements via social media.

Kerry says goodbyeNo, thank YOU, Kerry! Kerry Washington spent only 24 hours in the city, but it was a whirlwind of convos, premieres, interviews and STUNNING fashion. Farewell, Kerry! Thanks for the memories. @kerrywashinton/Instagram
And the winner is…TIFF announced this year that they won’t be presenting the festival awards at a traditional gala like they have in the past. Since most filmmakers have to leave the city before the ceremony Sunday night, they’ve opted to give out the awards via social media. The first of these was the $20,000 Platform Prize which went to Pietro Marcello for Martin Eden. Congrats!@tiff_net/Instagram
Diana on DutyNick wasn’t the only one showing Priyanka the love ahead of her premiere—her pup Diana (who, yes, has her own Instagram account) was keeping a good watch over her mama all day. She posted pics from several locations throughout Friday as she travelled with Priyanka around town.@diariesofdiana/Instagram
Aditi and AditiPriyanka walked the carpet with none other than the inspiration for The Sky is Pink—Aditi Chaudhary. Priyanka plays Aditi in the film which tells the true heartbreaking story of how Aditi and her husband Niren (played by Bollywood superstar Farhan Akhtar) lost their teenage daughter after a hard-fought battle with chronic illness.
