Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban continue to be #relationshipgoals, with the loving couple frequently photographed on the red carpet in a close embrace. The actor and country star have never shied away from speaking publicly about their relationship, with the couple often praising one another in interviews and during acceptance speeches. So, it’s only fitting that their love life would seep into Urban’s music, with Kidman acting as her husband’s biggest inspiration. Sometimes the songs are about love and sometimes they’re about making love. Giggity.

Kidman appeared on  KIIS FM’s Kyle And Jackie O show on Monday and spoke with the radio hosts about her husband’s discography, admitting that while she loves his music, being Urban’s muse can be a bit embarrassing at times. Referring specifically to Urban’s 2018 single “Gemini,” which includes the lyrics “She’s a maniac in the bed, but a brainiac in the head,” Kidman joked that at least the line isn’t negative. “It’s better than saying ‘God, I’m so bored. Make an effort, Nicole!’”

Host Kyle Sandilands also asked the Oscar winner about the validity of the line “She’s waking to make love in the middle of the night,” with Kidman’s response making us think she either hasn’t read the liner notes recently or is pretending to not remember. “No, what?! You’re making that up, Kyle. Shut up. I’m not answering that, that’s outrageous,” laughed Kidman. We’ll take that as a yes.

Kidman joked with Sandilands, who is a close friend of Urban’s, adding “I don’t censor his art if I can be a muse for it.” And if being a muse helps your partner earn Grammy awards, then we’d say Nicole is doing a great job.

Urban confirmed to iNews earlier this year that “Gemini,” a single from his tenth studio album Graffiti U, was inspired by Kidman, who celebrates her birthday on June 20 (a Gemini!). “The song is actually about Nicole – and she loves it,” said Urban. “It’s a fun song. My co-writer Julia Michaels asked me to describe Nicole and that’s what came out. ‘She is Gemini, but she’s not a contradiction. She can roll with things.’”

Kidman and Urban were married in 2006 and share daughters Sunday Rose (11) and Faith Margaret (9). The couple, who split their time between Nashville and their native Australia, frequently post pictures together on social media, reminding us what true love really looks like. Thankfully, it looks much more like what Urban sings about in his music than the relationships in Kidman’s HBO series Big Little Lies. But for real, husband goals.
