The ballots have been cast, the celebrities are dolled up in their designer finest and the red carpet has been walked. The biggest night in Hollywood — the Academy Awards — are here, and there’s lots going down.

But what’s the fun in just watching the Oscars, when you can watch the show and also dish about everything you’re watching live on Twitter? We decided that this year we’re doing both, and rounding up all of the biggest moments right here. So without further adieu, here are all of the night’s biggest moments… as told by Twitter.

“A statue of limitations”

Jimmy Kimmel making fun of Oscar for keeping his hands crossed, his head straight and not having a penis was just the beginning of the #MeToo jokes… jokes that were totally expected given the current #MeToo movement.

Helen and the jet ski

Thank you, Jimmy, for finally addressing how long some of these acceptance speeches can be by offering a sweet jet ski to the person with the shortest speech. Bonus points for having Helen Mirren model said jet ski.

Viola Davis presents Sam Rockwell the award for best supporting actor

When one great met another…

Eva Marie Saint being her fabulous self

Forget long acceptance speeches, Saint proved that sometimes it’s the long-winded presenters we need to watch out for… but also when it’s her we don’t really mind.

Lupita Nyong’o and Kumail Nanijani presenting together

We weren’t totally invested in The Shape of Water winning Best Production Design (despite the Toronto references), but we were into the presenters…

Rita Moreno being… well, Rita Moreno. In the same dress she wore to the Oscars in 1962, no less

No wonder she got a standing ovation while presenting the award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Allison Janney wins her first Oscar

Yeah so, who isn’t in the Allison Janney fan club? #ITonyaFTW

BB-8 bombs

Sometimes even Star Wars presenters can’t save poorly written jokes.

Oscars deciding to finally represent

Coco’s Best Animated Feature Film win spoke to all of us.

Jimmy goes to the movies

Remember when Kimmel rounded up a bunch of celebs to crash a movie across the street from the Oscars? It looked like a lot of fun for the celebs involved, but not so much for everyone else.

Maya Rudolph and Tiffany Haddish being everything

Can they host the Oscars next year, please?

The #TimesUp Trio

This is how you fully embrace a movement, Hollywood — put the leaders of change front and centre.

Jordan Peele winning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay

Get out.

When we all realized this thing was going to go way past the 11 p.m. ET mark

10:55 p.m., six more awards and one special performance left to go…

Eddie Vedder performing “Room at the Top” during the in memoriam

Tears.

Guillermo Del Toro wins Best Director

We all got behind his speech, but if Emma Stone had her way this probably wouldn’t have happened.

Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren proving that women can be gorgeous at any age

Word.

Gary Oldman wins for Best Actor and the Internet loses it

So is #TimesUp or isn’t it?

Jodie Foster and Jennifer Lawrence presenting Best Actress

Who knew there was such a height difference?

Frances McDormand’s goosebumps-invoking acceptance speech

“I’ve got some things to say.”

The Shape of Water wins the big one

And no, this year there was no embarrassing mix up.
