Normani was the show stealer at September’s Savage X Fenty show at New York Fashion Week, so it’s only fitting (and supportive with just the right amount of sexy) that Rihanna has named the popstar as the first ambassador for her lingerie line. Just announced on Thursday, Normani will be the new face (and body) of Savage X Fenty. We’ll take one of everything.

Normani first made her mark on the Savage X Fenty brand in September during New York Fashion Week, with critics quick to applaud Rihanna’s groundbreaking fashion ‘experience.’ The Savage X Fenty show was packed full of star power, including Halsey, Big Sean, Migos, and DJ Khaled on stage, with Kacey Musgraves, Vanessa Hudgens, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls, Laverne Cox, Paloma Elsesser Christian Combs and more in the audience.

But it was the former Fifth Harmony member’s dance routine that caught the attention of viewers — and Riri herself. Half rock show, half fashion show, fully amazing, the Savage X Fenty show was filmed for Amazon Prime and is available now through the streaming service, featuring Normani’s full performance to Sean Paul’s “Shake That Thing.” Maybe Sean Paul really does make everything better.

Normani made the announcement about her partnership with Savage X Fenty on Instagram on Thursday night, posting a gallery showing the popstar looking stunning in red lingerie from the new holiday collection. “I’m the first ever brand ambassador for @savagexfenty! I love you @badgalriri,” wrote Normani. “I want all individuals to feel empowered and to embrace who they truly are. I don’t always wake up feeling the most confident and powerful, but trust and believe having my Savage X on always helps!!” Actor Gabrielle Union, model Ashley Graham, musician Tove Lo and more quickly began flooding Normani’s post with celebratory comments, including Rihanna, who commented on Normani’s pic with the message “Welcome to the family sis! Honored to have you!”

Normani spoke to Vogue about her new partnership with Savage X Fenty and revealed why she loves being part of the brand that is for everyone and every body. “I just love how inclusive [the brand] is and how it gives everybody the opportunity to feel sexy and beautiful and empowered—which is everything that I stand for as well,” says Normani. “I thought it would be the perfect partnership.”

In addition to her new partnership with Savage X Fenty, Normani also confirmed to Vogue that fans will finally hear her eagerly anticipated debut solo album in 2020. “I’m really excited for my fans to hear it because they’ve been very patient with me and they’ve been there since the beginning of my journey—and my new fans too,” said Normani. “I’ve been using these new sessions as therapy and as an opportunity for me to know myself in a different way. I can’t wait for everybody else to be able to tap into that and get to know the real me.”

Since Fifth Harmony announced their hiatus in March 2018, Normani has released a handful of huge duets, including “Love Lies” with Khalid, “Dancing With A Stranger” with Sam Smith and “Waves” with 6lack. Normani dropped her first solo single “Motivation” earlier this year and appears on the soundtrack for the new Charlie’s Angels film, along with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, on “Bad To You.”
