On Friday’s episode of Love Island (Monday-Sunday, 9pm on CTV), the fallout from Casa Amor finally hit the Villa in full force. Sure, it’s been a few days… or is it weeks… maybe months… is it still 2020? Anyways, the guys have been back from Casa Amor for some amount of time, but a tweet and a tea spilling session from one of the new Islanders made Cely reconsider whether Johnny is the John Legend to her Chrissy Teigen. All of her is not loving all of him.The episode did have some lighthearted moments, including Connor hilariously delivering the most Connor smack talk of all time in defence of bidets everywhere and Kierstan and Bennett getting handsy while complimenting each other’s eyes under the neon lights. But TBH, it was the Cely and Johnny show on Friday and the gloves were off… literally. Pink boxing shorts are so ca-hute!

THE PRESSURE COOKER

After Cely had the nerve to have a conversation with Bennie while seated six feet away from him, Johnny demanded that she immediately find the new Islander and tell him that she wasn’t interested. As a quick recap, Cely has done zero things to make Johnny question her loyalty, so this request is as ridiculous as Noah thinking he was doing a good job not starring at Kierstan’s breasts.[video_embed id='2038618']ICYMI: It’s a total ‘Love Island’ shake-up as four Islanders get booted and three new ones sneak in [/video_embed]Johnny’s aggressive sunglass-removal demand did not leave Cely feeling like her typically sunny self, but Caleb and Justine, who have moved on from #CoupleGoals to the all-encompassing #BestHumanGoals title, managed to give him some perspective. Johnny apologized to Cely and acknowledged that she has always been loyal. Things are great again! Wait, never mind.

STIRRING THE POT

There are two types of challenges on Love Island. The overtly sexual and often gross challenges (Car Wash, Baby Bird Spitting), and the challenges that are designed to stir the pot. This was the latter. Viewers’ tweets were read out loud and the final one revealed that Cely only knew "half of what happened" at Casa Amor. That leaves a whole other half that she doesn’t know about. We’re not an accountant like Connor, but that’s a lot.Justine continues to be the best and voices what we’re all thinking, saying “I don’t want her looking stupid because she’s been nothing by loyal.” Johnny Boy goes on the defensive and begins complaining that things are now difficult for him. Who knew cheating on national TV could have repercussions? Weird.Cely goes to Caleb, who is 99 percent sure Johnny and Mercades did not have sex. She then goes to Noah, who is ready to take my job and provide a play by play recap of what went down in Casa Amor. Noah also made it clear that he would never do what Johnny did if he were with Cely, because you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take. “Why would you be so regretful for just making out with a girl,” added Noah, hoping to break Cely’s heart and win it in the same conversation. That’s a big swing, baseball man.

Information is power and with her new details on the other half of Casa Amor, Cely is devastated, telling Justine “I feel like I’m being manipulated and I feel like I look dumb.” Dr. Justine, who really needs to consider a career in therapy, asked Cely what advice she would give Justine if the roles were reversed and Caleb was the cheater (don’t even put that in the universe, Justine!). “I would tell you it’s not worth it,” said Cely.

Now we have to wait until Sunday night for a conversation between Johnny and Cely themselves which could actually result in Johnny going home, depending on how things go down. There are more guys than gals in the Villa right now and with the big SUNDAY NIGHT teaser announcing there's a recoupling coming, the girls are in a position to send three boys home.

UPDATE ON OUR POWER COUPLE

While Justine brushed past the topic in the girls' post-challenge debrief in favour of the arguably more important conversation about Johnny's indiscretions, we can't not talk about Justine and Caleb finding out they're one of Chrissy Teigen's favourite couples. After literally saying in her original bio that Chrissy and John were her ultimate couple goals and then Caleb telling her he was the Chrissy to her John, Justine finally got the divine confirmation she wanted when a viewer tweet revealed that the real actual Chrissy Teigen was tweeting about how much she loved Caleb and Justine together. If that's not a relationship stamp of approval, we don't know what is.
