Well, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Australian royal tour is officially over (it’s about freaking time) and the Duchess of Sussex went out with a bang by wearing a completely see-through skirt. That’s right, Markle’s blue pleated Givenchy skirt — that she looked amazing in, for the record — showed pretty much everything as she said farewell to the Kiwis.

The internet is freaking out about this wardrobe “malfunction”, but in our humble opinion it’s really NBD. For starters, people wear things like this on purpose all the time. While Markle’s decision was likely not intentional, there’s no need to make such a big fuss over it.

We’ve all been there — we put on an outfit that we think looks amazing only to step out into daylight and notice that it’s fully see-through. It’s embarrassing for a minute and then we get over it and rock it and everyone moves on. It’s definitely not the end of the world, it just means that perhaps you need to do a more thorough light test before wearing it out in public.

This isn’t the first time that Markle has had a completely relatable wardrobe slip-up on the royal tour. Just a few days ago, very observant onlookers noticed that the label of her dress was showing and joked that she was probably planning to return the item. Again, something that has legit happened to all of us, but because of who she is, everyone immediately slammed her for it.

The bottom line? Maybe Markle needs someone doing a more thorough wardrobe check before she steps out and has a million cameras on her. But more importantly, maybe people should find something more important to talk about?
