It's been quite a year for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They had a low-key wedding with just a few close friends and family (LOL) and they're expecting their first child, which the world found out about just days before the pair went on their first royal tour.
All eyes were on the couple from the moment they landed Down Under on October 15 and they didn't disappoint, embarking on a whirlwind of royal engagements, killer speeches, romantic photos ops, welly wanging and belly-cradling. Let's relive some of the best moments, shall we?

10. Baby love
They kicked off Day 1 of their tour in Sydney, meeting with Australia's Governor General Peter Cosgrove and wife Lynne Cosgrove who gave the couple their first baby gifts: a kangaroo stuffie and a pair of tiny Uggs. How fitting! And how adorable.
9. Meghan's competition
Harry enjoyed a sweet reunion with Daphne Dunne, his 98-year-old mega-fan who has shared a couple of lovely moments with the prince in the past. This time, however, was Daphne's first introduction to Meghan and, yes, it was equally lovely. In fact, Harry may have been replaced.
8. A royal miracle
The city of Dubbo had been experiencing a two-year drought when Harry and Meghan visited with farmers in the community and, like the angels they are, they brought a gift: rain and thus the opportunity for some of the sweetest photo ops. When Harry took to the stage to deliver a speech, it started to pour proving nothing or no one can resist these two — not even Mother Nature herself.
7. No. 1 wifey
We learned just how proud Meghan was as she watched and listened attentively to Harry as he practiced his speech for the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games. These two!
6. Harry hugs it out
Harry and Meghan's walkabout in Melbourne brought one overwhelmed fan to tears. Harry handled it with ease—by shrugging off protocol and giving her the sweetest hug. Her reaction was absolutely priceless and the encounter was perfection. We're still crying.

5. The belly-cupping that started it all
There may be a lot of buzz about her recent OTT bump-cupping but the first time Megs publicly patted it was on Day 7 of the royal tour, as she and Harry walked along the water. It was a sweet moment from Meghan's first trimester and a hint of things to come and her fondness for keeping a hand on her growing bump.
4. That balcony moment
The Sussexes hit the balcony of the Grand Pacific Hotel to greet fans, and by doing so, recreated history. Yep, more than 50 years ago, his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, did that very move, waving to the crowd below, while they were on their world coronation tour.
3. The Duchess finds her voice
Meghan gave an epic speech on the couple's first day in New Zealand, applauding the country's place in history on women's suffrage saying, "Suffrage is not simply about the right to vote for women, but also about what that represents: the basic and fundamental human right of all people, including those members of society who have been marginalized whether for reasons of race, gender, ethnicity or orientation, to be able to participate in the choices for their future and their community." It was a powerful moment from the self-proclaimed feminist and longtime gender equality and women's rights champion as she ramped up excitement for the kind of work she will do as a royal.
2. These boots are made for throwing
Welly wanging may be a British pastime popular in New Zealand but Meghan was a natural from the get-go, showing off her skills in Auckland, as she and Harry competed to see who could throw the boots farther. Meghan's team came out on top, much to her hubby's chagrin. Sorry, Harry, you can't win 'em all.
1. Meghan's first royal tweet
Meghan earned her first photo credit as a royal while she and Harry rehearsed their speeches for the Invictus Games' closing ceremony. Naturally, the black-and-white pic was of her husband, on stage with a mic in his hand, proving she hasn't lost her social media touch, scoring points for artistry and adorableness.
