These days, it feels like people can get famous on the internet for doing just about anything, from commenting on video games to giving online makeup tutorials.
But in France, a man has unintentionally achieved viral fame after doing something a little, well, different. A farmer became the talk of Twitter yesterday after images showing him chasing away anti-bird poaching activists with a shovel went viral.
Oh, but it also appears as though the man forgot to put on his pants first.

People in France are now referring to him as “shovel guy”, and once the internet got word of him, it took over and did what it does best. Turns out this pantless farmer has been a bigger part of our lives than we ever realized.
He’s a big fan of Scotland, apparently

No matter what lies in “shovel guy’s” future, we just hope, for all our sake, that it involves a pair of pants.
