Hard to believe, but it’s been an entire freaking year since Paper Magazine tried to overtake the world wide web with our very own Kim Kardashian. Well as they say, good ideas always resurface, and the publication is back in full force with four new covers that are intent on doing what it wanted Kim to do 12 months ago: you guessed it — Break. The. Internet.

This time, however, it’s a Kardashian-free zone, as Paper is looking at Kim’s former protege, the one and only Paris Hilton, to pick up the task for her. It’s an interesting turn of events if we do say so ourselves. Even more interesting is the fact that Paris actually looks… well a lot less like the Guess girl we’ve seen in the past and a lot more swan-like. As in, high fashion meets a really good shower.

See what we mean? With those dark nails, lips and eyes, coupled with the white feathers and slicked-back hair, it’s hard to think of anything other than “swan like” to describe the entire look. It’s so controversial for her, we actually can’t even decide if we’re into it.

Of course, when one sets out to break the Internet, it’s best not to rely on one sole source. So Paper also recruited Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, American Horror Story belle Chloe Sevigny, and Marc Jacobs’ dog. The most Canadian of the bunch would be Neville Jacobs, who is dressed to look like Don Cherry. But the other two are pretty in sync with their TV roles — Hale looks pretty murderous, while Sevigny is covered in blood. A look we’d wager she’s used to by now.

Check them out for yourself. Interesting, but not so Internet-breaking, as far as we’re concerned.
